Wanjoo appears on Kalyakoorl, the first album Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse released together in Perth in 2014. For a new listener, it offers a simple place to begin: one song, and an invitation to listen further. The recording is available to play below.
Follow the recordings
The catalogue moves from Kalyakoorl (Forever) to Bindi Bindi (Butterfly) and Koorlangka (Children). Across these albums are original songs and adaptations, including Englishman in New York, Under the Milky Way and Moon River. Koorlangka also includes Djinda Djinda and Djidi Djidi.
Spend time with a performance
The live recordings offer another route. Koort was recorded at Government House as part of Perth Festival; Live at the Ellington captures Gina and Guy with an ensemble in July 2024. Each gives the music a particular place and gathering of musicians.
